Track & Pit Area Rules

  1. Alcohol consumption is not allowed.
  2. Park in the High Desert Raceplace parking lot, not in Bingo Parking lot.
  3. Do not park in the handicap area unless you are handicapped.
  4. Don't litter, clean up after yourself and others.
  5. No Loud Music in pit area. Please use headphones. We need to help the customers in the hobby shop area. We all have a different taste in music.
  6. Do not yell at the corner marshals, you are the one that wrecked.
  7. NO Yelling at each other on the drivers stand. You will be docked 1 lap.
  8. Use the frequency clips, and DO NOT turn your radio on during someone else's race or practice time. Always return clips when done running.
  9. Only pit crew members of the current race are allowed in front of the drivers stand during that race only.
  10. Do not get your transponder until you are told to do so.
  11. Return your transponder right away.
  12. Do not get onto the drivers stand until it is your race.
  13. Corner marshal the race after yours, don't be late. You will be docked a lap.
  14. No drinking, or gabbing while corner marshaling. Watch your corner, not the race.
  15. If you can't corner marshal you must find a replacement.
  16. No smoking inside the Building! Please use Butt can out side.
  17. Must wear shoes or boots. NO sandals in the track area.
  18. NO FOUL LANGUAGE WILL BE TOLERATED!!!
  19. NO Yelling at each other on the drivers stand.
  20. Only track personnel are allowed in the scoring booth.
  21. Follow the rules and have fun!

Please Help High Desert Raceplace with these items

  1. No fighting or swearing! (You get 2 warnings the 3rd time, you get suspended from the track )
  2. Clean up your pit area. Throw all garbage in trashcans before leaving for the night. (You get one warning!)
  3. All drivers are required to have a back up frequency for each class they enter!
  4. All cars must have velcro inside the car to hold the personal transponder. If you don't have a transponder, we have handout transponders.
  5. All drivers MUST USE FREQUENCEY CLIPS WHEN PRACTICING!
  6. Immediately after your race drivers must bring there cars up to the tech table, and then go out and corner or have someone that will corner for you! Drivers get one warning, 2nd warning you lose a lap from your main race.
  7. During races ALL RADIOS MUST BE TURNED OFF!
  8. Off road cars must have gear covers.
  9. Any entry application can be denied for valid reason.
  10. Reverse cannot be used when racing.
  11. When you crash, do not hit the throttle, hold the brake and wait for the corner. You get one warning, after that the track crew can take one lap off your total.
  12. All cars must have a 1/8" minimum clearance. Any car in question can be refused until 1/8" is achieved.
  13. At this time no traction compound will be used unless approved by High desert Raceplace. You may use Simple Green and WD40 ONLY!.

High Desert Raceplace & R\C Hobbies is in no way responsible for damage, injury, or lost and stolen items. Racers and spectators enter the premises at their own risk. High Desert Raceplace and the track crew operate on a voluntary basis for the racers. The track is to remain a family friendly location, with competitive hobby class RC cars and trucks.
